Journey to the Board

This 7-stage programme is designed to take participants from exploration to impact in the NED arena. Over the course of the programme, it guides them through a structured journey that blends personal brand development, practical application support, and one-to-one mentoring. Each stage builds on the last, moving from clarifying their NED focus and shaping a compelling board-level profile, through to networking into opportunities, excelling at interviews, and positioning themselves as recognised people of influence.

The result is a complete, end-to-end pathway that equips participants with the tools, confidence, and presence to secure and succeed in a Non-Executive Director role.

We begin by assessing an individual’s natural energy across different role dynamics using the GC Index. This gives us a clear language to describe their strengths and impact at board level, helping us to shape the type of NED roles best aligned to them.

Profile assessment + 1-hour review meeting = £300 + VAT

Through one-to-one coaching, we explore an individual’s motivations, career trajectory, and target sectors. The aim is to define their NED focus and establish clear role objectives that align with both their skills and aspirations.

2 hours of 1-2-1 coaching = £298 + VAT

An individual’s personal brand is their currency in the NED market. We craft a compelling NED CV, professional bio, and LinkedIn profile — all written for them — to showcase their value proposition and position them as a credible board candidate.

2 hour fact-finding session + creation of documents = £898 + VAT

We coach participants on how to identify and pursue NED opportunities, from making targeted applications to strategically networking into the right circles. This phase equips them to access both advertised and hidden board roles.

2 hours of coaching = £298 + VAT

Securing a seat at the table requires confidence in the boardroom. We provide executive-level interview coaching, including a full mock interview and detailed feedback, to help participants perform with gravitas and authority.

1 hour of interview training + 10 Q mock interview with feedback session = £279 + VAT

To stand out in a competitive NED market, individuals need to be recognised as people of influence. We guide them in raising their profile, sharing their expertise, and building visibility within their target sectors.

1 hour of thought leadership coaching = £250 + VAT

Once an individual secures a role, our on-demand mentoring ensures they maximise their impact as a NED. They have access to seasoned NEDs for confidential guidance, practical advice, and support during their first months on the board.
